Ink washes on Chinese paper, 2021. Some flecks of white for highlights along with pure black ink stick gives me the clean bold areas I strive for. Less detail is what I’m after always trying to maintain the essence and quality of paint in a work of art. Details never enter my mind when painting, for me its about the quickness of capturing a subject and unworked paint thats most important.
